Imposter Syndrome

They say that comparison is the thief of joy. But what exactly does that mean? I think that rather than stealing our joy, comparison steals our authenticity. The act of comparing two things is to see the differences between them. If we truly loved and valued and had peace with ourselves, there would be no reason to analyze the differences between us/them. Of course we’re different. Who cares?

We tend to care about those differences when we have a subconscious belief that we aren’t good enough. We search for ways to confirm that belief and, of course, we find those reasons with ease.

So how does one move away from feeling like an imposter (or simply not good enough)? You focus on living in your fully embodied authenticity. Knowing that you were created as a perfect, divine expression of creation itself. Every day you ask yourself what would bring you the most joy and happiness–and then, you do it. When you create a foundation for your identity of self based on a solid knowingess of who you are and what you love, it gives you permission to explore and experiment and win and fail and shift without the need to judge any of those experiences. You’re just a soul having a human experience, and that’s a really beautiful thing.

If the “not good enough” feeling feels older than this lifetime, it may very well be. That’s exactly the kind of healing we do in a Timeline Healing Hypnosis session. You can book a session with me here: stan.store/DayleeRose. If you’re a seasoned healer or just starting your practice and you want to learn how to guide others to heal timelines, my THH Practitioner Course lives there too.
